Praise
Praise God that I no longer falter in the flesh of my youth, Praise God that my flesh no longer consumes my mind, Praise God that I no longer wander in the foggy maze of confusion lost and without hope, Praise God that I no longer live in fear and trembling concerned only of things of this world,.
Praise God that He has protected me and trained me, and guided me through this path of life. Praise God that on that dark night at 34 years of age I heard the knock of my Lord! Praise God!
Oh those days come where I find my heart troubled and the issues of life begin to become a burden, many times I pray and weep from the depth of my heart, and other times I pray and weep in joy, or like this morning my quiet time with God is a time of deep reflection and thankfulness. It does not matter as long as I am with my God!
I do not know the length of this path I have been given or the days that have been numbered for me. As I walk I will praise, I will look on each new day and rejoice and be glad in it, for this is a day that the Lord has made.
When the path becomes rocky with troubles I will pause in quietness and shod my feet and buckle my belt, then fasten my breast plate, set my helmet upon my head and take up my shield and my sword.
I have learned that I do not battle with the flesh of man but against the principalities and powers of the air, against spiritual wickedness in high places, my enemies are not that of flesh and blood, but that of dark spirits that roam to and fro seeking to consume the children of God.
So having put on the armor I will walk this path boldly because my God has told me that if He is with me no one can stand against me.
So I go and do this thing that I have been called to do, and I will do it in Praise and thanksgiving.
If I could give you all a gift from my Lord Jesus, it would be that one day you find yourself in such a quiet time with your creator that I have experienced this precious morning.
Praise God.
